The Salar de Uyuni contains the largest salt flats in the world. During the rainy season, the fields are covered in a layer of water that acts like a giant mirror. There is nothing but blue sky and clouds for as far as the eye can see.
And even if it's only for a few moments, you can experience the sky at your feet. ---------------------------- dA gave me the maintenance page the first time I tried to submit this so I lost my long and drawn out spiel. :C And since I don't feel like retyping everything yet, I'll keep to the important bits. 1. This is for the Anime Postcards contest : [link] 2. Much to my dismay, humans can't physically walk on clouds as of yet. Since I'm trying to go for a feeling of enchantment/wonder instead of physical likeness,this picture is a caricature rather than a precise depiction. I hope it still qualifies... |
